Kari Campano

Kari Campano launched her marketing career as a publicist and special events coordinator in 1984 with a small public relations firm in California. Four years later, she entered the advertising industry at a Young and Rubicam company working in account management for clients including Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), Westin Hotels and Resorts, and Suzuki Motorcycles. In 1991, Kari continued her relationship with KFC as an event planner and designer through her own company Grand Events with partners John and Carol Saunders. Today, Grand Events Los Angeles is one of the leading event planning and design firms in Southern California. Kari obtained her Associate of Arts degree from Los Angeles Valley College and her Bachelor of Arts degree with a Special Major in Event Planning and Marketing from California State University, Northridge.

Kari relocated to the east coast in 1996 to establish an event staffing firm for marketing research and promotional movie screenings in New York City. Kari currently works with Screen Engine ASI, one of the leading entertainment marketing research firms, and travels throughout the country coordinating screenings for major studios and indie filmmakers.

In addition to screening events, Kari manages marketing, PR, and event design/planning projects for small businesses and non-profit organizations throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut and Westchester County, New York.
